The Greater Houston Miniature Horse Club (GHMHC) was
formed in January 1986 with 20 to 25 members.  The club has
grown every year and takes in members not just from Texas!  
Included are Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Louisiana,
Missouri, Mississippi and Oklahoma.  So you can see, we not
only have Texas members, but, are Nationally represented.

GHMHC is an affiliate of the American Miniature Horse
Association.  We offer it's members shows, seminars, social
activities, including our annual "Hi Point Award Banquet" held
in January of each year for the previous years awards and
youth scholarships aiding our youth in furthering their
education.

GHMHC offers four shows during the year.  All shows include
four judges, giving all exhibitors the best the industry has to
offer. Two of our shows, "The Bluebonnet Classic" held in
March and the "Summer Celebration" held in July are
traditionally  three day shows (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
New for 2008!!  The July show will feature 8 JUDGES in 3 days!

We ALWAYS welcome new members.  GHMHC is just one big
FAMILY!  The members of this club go out of their way to
make you feel WELCOME!!
